Often it really is the experience, instead of the place itself.

I was driving, sliding, gliding and then it just happened:
I liked what was in the air, the comfort of familiarity on that surprising long stretch,
knowing that real boutiques and my ex-happy place from London are there,
browsing jewels and buying a shade from the palette the old way,
leaving with a cup in hand for the gentle hour of rush,
and coming back to a "spot the difference" home-away-from-room, fast.
