Chicago,IL

Sized, yet chilled. A definite charmer.

Completely unexpected flow with a glow before running into the perfect rain shelter.
Finally towards the bean with some bubbles, more bubbles, and even more bubbles.

Lake Zurich, IL

United States, IL, Lake Zurich
This was taken at Lake Zurich but not Lake Zurich just before the 911 rescue. Mystery.

Bellingham, WA

United States, WA, Bellingham Fed by Panda (who clearly doesn't eat bread nor chow mein) in a rush, the queue at each light was surprisingly long in the Whatcom county. What? An unconventional walking tour stop.

Everett, WA

What a name. Leaving the Future of Flight and shadows of the giant Boeing behind, it was one of those roads that leaves you in awe. The town itself was just as is, like many others in the state(s).

...and the Mountlake Terrace, the Lynnwood hangout, the Kirkland raspberries.

Seattle, WA

The comparative scale of The City began by the skyline from SW Harbor Ave on a Sunday afternoon.
Seattle was gorgeous on a sunny July 4th with the great hosts, Vietnamese food, and the many glimpses of the sea.

Olympia, WA

The state capital of Washington

The State Capitol amongst the Evergreen trees from Interstate 5 was still the most memorable view. Vote.

Napavine, WA

United States, WA, Napavine
A real meal (small but not small) and out of the 5 wooden houses, one of them had to be a jail (far right).

Toledo, WA

I saw pictures - didn't understand.  I went there - still didn't understand.  I suppose no one really understood anyway.

Gospodor Monument Park
Dominic Gospodor, the eccentric bachelor who spent over $1 million building the Gospodor Monuments, has died at age 86. He never told anyone why he built them, or exactly what he meant to say with their peculiar combination of Mother Teresa, Native Americans, Jesus, Holocaust victims, an eagle, and an enormous weather vane.
