Sibiu
Somewhat unexpected but it was such a pleasant surprise: the highly recommended restaurant recommended by the reliable friend on the net, including the walk around to hear the birds, to see the kids playing and the different rooms. The arcs and patios, the walks, the Bridge of Lies and the simply surreal spins under the stars of Sibiu.
around Jibert
...that magical drive as we entered Transylvania.
Something like this for the imagery (as I was clearing still getting to know the Note). But no, not like this. Much, much better. The haze and mist, the gradual and moving sunset palette, the snow on the open fields, the bare trees, the road, and what was on my left made this the most beautiful winter sunset I have ever, ever seen.
Viscri
The well-preserved yet not over-polished medieval village which deserve many claps and pats on the back, I think. Maybe (or not) so did Prince Charles, apparently. Many (friendly) villages in Viscri but also in the surrounding area stood outside their houses looked picture picture without attempting to. I was not excited about the detour like someone but I really liked it in the end (even the dog).
Rasnov
The mist (hence the borrowed below),
and the distanced look at the majestic citadel
which accompanied the almost full moon.
Sinaia
It started by the tour of the open home in wonderland (with an electronic roof, central heating and vaccuming system no less). The private banquet hall, frosties, me and mastermind on the drive around the mountainous part of the country.
