As one of those things that I want to experience it at least once in my life, in September I went to Munich in Germany for Oktoberfest. Since Vienna is located so close to this true origin of Oktoberfest, it didn't make sense not to go. I expected lots of beer and was certainly not disappointed, but I have never seen so many chicken being cooked before for sure. Aside from Oktoberfest, somehow we also managed to go hiking. Not the usual activity to combine with Oktoberfest but so it ended up to a healthy and balanced weekend with both drinking and exercising. On top of everything else, the most important highlight from that weekend was seeing Alex again.
