The first sight of Lake Titicaca from the Peruvian side when we arrived in Puno immediately made us wonder whether we were on the right side. Visiting the man-made, floating islands of the Uros community still made it worthwhile though the "main island" should have been skipped. After a cosy night out and several visits to our "favourite vegetarian restaurant", Elena left me with the guys.
