I was happy to leave snowy Austria for some sunshine and palm trees in Portugal. I arrived in Portugal and it was storming. On the way down south alone in a bus (without really knowing whether I was actually on the right one or not), Portugal from the window looked somewhat rough. Nonetheless Albufeira, Faro and Algarve were exactly what you would expect it to be: beach, palm trees and beautiful weather. I had lots of fun with the morning shows, working with an amazing conference team, dancing to our song with the other faci girls, and enjoying the daily seafood treat. It was November but still warm enough to swim in the sea.
I even managed to make use of my time between changing trains and flights by shopping in Faro, then in Mallorca.
