One of the places which has been on the list for years, the sunrise at the Temples of Angkor was worth getting up at 04:30 for. By 08:00 it already got too hot to fully concentrate on all the great stories our guide has to offer. It was not nearly as majestic but the Bayon temple with 217 faces and the cravings that show everyday life was the most memorable. By 10:00 everything was already soaking wet. By 13:00 I have already lost count of how many temples we have seen. Ta Prohm is fighting against the force of nature, and where we saw the endless fascinating echoing tower. At one point it did seem like the world has somehow united itself to help Cambodia to restore. Children continues to approach.
