Outside-of-Austria travel resumed with Berlin. Berlin was one of those cities I originally thought I would not manage to see this year despite being very high on the "to-visit" list. But this was before talking to Stefan and Katja; it didn't took much convincing and off I went. They were great hosts and I had such a relaxing time. Somehow it was a comfortable feeling to be visiting another country but still understand what was happening around me (imagine how it would be like for me if I go to UK now!). It was not a beautiful city, but I liked it a lot because "it is bigger, busier, cheaper, shops are open and close later, more fun and creative, dirtier, messier", and more diverse. Of course there was also Currywurst and Berliner Weisse.
