The purpose of going to Chivay was to see the Cañon de Colca, one of the world's deepest canyons, and the condors there. Apart from a great afternoon walking on this trail and seeing a lot of cactus, we joined all the other "gringos" at the hot springs, which for highland temperature, was not too hot afterall. The scenary on the way to and back from Chivay was beautiful in an understated way.
